Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Ukraine: Q3 2022

During the third quarter of 2022, the top travel and local apps on Android in Ukraine showed diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at how each app fared.

Uklon - More Than a Taxi maintained a solid presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 13K and 25K. The app saw a peak of 24.9K downloads in the week of August 8. Weekly active users ranged from approximately 143K to 166K, with a noticeable peak at the end of August.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a consistent download range of 8.6K to 11.2K, peaking in the week of July 25. Its active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 110K to 115K throughout the quarter.

Taxi 838 showed a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting from 9.7K at the beginning of the quarter and dropping to 7.8K by the end of September. Active users demonstrated a slight decline as well, from 43.2K to 41.9K over the same period.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw its weekly downloads peak at 8.8K in late July, with a gradual decrease to around 6K by the end of September. Active users also declined from 137K in early July to approximately 102K by the end of the quarter.

The newly released Ukrainian Railways app showed a strong start with downloads peaking at 19.3K in mid-August. Active users grew from 1.8K in early August to 26.9K by mid-September, reflecting a positive user adoption trend.
